Should I be concerned?? 4k generator and 30 amp outlet question

I have no transfer switch in my 2015 Fleetwood Storm so I have to plug my shore cord into a 30 amp outlet to run the generator and power the house.

This outlet has been problematic (cord falling out, bad connection...it's a regular NEMA TT-30R), so I changed it today to a new locking outlet (NEMA L5-30R. It started me thinking that the outlet is only rated for 3750 watts while I am running a 4k Onan generator - anything to be worried about?

Thanks,
ryan

No, nothing to worry about. Pretty sure the Onan 4k has a 30A breaker. The Onan 4k isn't really meant to do 4000W continuous.

Thanks! What I thought, but doesn't hurt to ask...

I prefer not having a transfer switch as well. Less to go wrong.
