Side View Cameras add on

The RV we are considering purchasing has a back up camera but the monitor has space for three inputs. How difficult is it to install side view cameras

If it takes more than lifting a finger, it is too much work IMHO. With proper mirror adjustment I have found the side view cameras to be less than worthless. I want to see when I clear a car through my rear view camera. The sides showed me nothing and were automatically turned on with my turn signals. I disconnected them.

I agree with pushed. The left one is especially useless. Who wants to turn their head to the right to switch lanes on the left?
They are slightly helpful when backing in a camp site to see where the hookups are.

I too HATE the pause and change of the side cameras !
It's almost made me not want to use the turn signal...
think I will find out how to disable that feature !

I decided to just adjust my mirrors so there were only 2 blindspots and then had to prove it to my wife!

Had her walk around the rv while we were on our cellphones and she would randomly hold up fingers so I could tell her how many...

Only 2 blindspots were right under each mirror out front and I could see the left side if I leaned just so... On the right front her scream is my early warning system (just kidding!)

In the rear I've gotten to where I know how far back they are based on where they are on the rear view camera...
once they disappear off the rear cameras wide view, I'm WELL past them even with the toad...
