Slide out warning message arbitrarily comes on

I’m sitting in my 2004 Newmar Kountry Star watching TV when the warning message for my slide comes on and the light blinks. I panic and quickly press the slide out switch.

It does this several times and I let the message finish , wait five seconds but nothing happens. Now it has been a couple hours and it has not talked to me since.

I’m glad it doesn’t start the slide out moving.

Any ideas what would cause this?

Thank you,

Dave

If the slideout isn't actually moving at all, then maybe bad sensor or bad ground. I realize that's pretty vague...but it's a start.

I’d check all connections you can find at and around the switch.
