Slideout Locks

Good evening! Just arrived a few hours ago to my site for the weekend. On my last trip when making a turn on a less than smooth road, I heard and felt and heard two loud thuds. I didn’t think a ton of it as we had burnt the last of the wood and so I knew stuff would shift in the bays because they weren’t as tightly packed as normal. Well coming on this trip making a turn, again on less than smooth, the banging happened again. I thought I noticed the kitchen slide moving at the top. Well we hit another area and making a turn and this time I did see it move with the thud. My question is, should I have slide locks or some type of bar that goes between the slide and wall when it is in? I know they used to be common place 20 years ago but didn’t usually see them on the new ones. Any advice? If so, best place to buy?

Think its a matter of personal preference. Had my hydraulic slides deploy while driving on my DRV 5er. Made my own out of 4X4 lumber. My 17 Renegade came with nice metal ones. Owners manual says they must be used for travel but I never have. My Renegade slides are electric so less prone to wander.
