Solar

Has anyone had solar installed by Mike at Slap City Solar? I'm looking at an 840 watt system that is very reasonably priced.

Curious, what is a reasonable price for 840 watts of solar and what does that include? Thanks!

Can't find a website for them. Hopefully they are legit. How much is a very reasonably priced 840 watt system and what does it include?

Under 2500 panels, install, midnite classic controller with temp compensation.

You can do it yourself for around $1800 including the midnight solar 150. I have a post on the Tiffin forum with pictures. The panels that you can get now are 340 watts. 4 of these panels should get you 1360 watts. It is easy to install and I did it in about 4 or 5 days part time. Contact me and I can answer questions.

That's a decent price. Make sure they use heavy enough wire from the panels to the controller.

Bill, I could do it but we are full time and do move around. Trying to get everything shipped at the same time, working on the mh in an rv park can be a problem.

I had Mike at thesunworks.com do a solar install on my M.H. four or 5 years ago. He really knows what he's doing. I checked him out before having it done and only had good reviews. located in Slab City, Ca. by the Salton sea. Just outside of Niland, Ca. Give him a call. A real nice guy.
Everyone should visit Slab City at least once.
