Splendid WD2100 XC all light rapidly flashing

Splendid tech suggestion to try a new console board, that's the only choice they gave. Before I do that has anyone had all the lights come on when the ON/OFF button is pressed? Pulling the AC plug out for 30 seconds is the only way and does stop the lights from blinking, press ON again all lights rapid flash.

I have tried generator power, straight from the house 120V 20amp power, same results

Buying an expensive board on a "maybe" is a gamble, wondering if I should dig down into the vent for lint, pull the lower front panel off look at something down there, in the parts book looks like there's a filter by the motor.

History is we bought a used MH, have used the WD 3 times in the year we've had it, no issues and no idea what the previous owners may have done with it

Worse case is I need to think about winterizing it in a couple months and cannot as is. Would be extremely hard to try and pull out of the MH!

When flashing is there a 'sequence' to the flashing?
X number of flashing ----------pause--------repeat flashing

Thanks for manuals, no, just continuously very rapid flashing of all lights until I disconnect the main power cord. When I unplug for a bit and plug back in all the lights will flash once and go out

I press ON, all the lights instantly go into rapid flashing

Have you ever pulled the small lower panel off, does it just snap off? I've read there is a pump down there with a possible filter

Thanks,

Rich

Splendid WD2100 XC all light rapidly flashing

I’ve had that “all lights” indication once, but it was 3-4 years ago and I can’t recall the cause. I want to say it relates to the drier heat coil control circuitry. I can say that there are a few failure modes that allow no bypass, as they can lead to excessive heat, fire, etc.
The tech support at Westland Sales is usually quite well informed. Also, experienced techs at independent shops often have regular exposure to these issues.

UPDATE, while the 120V plug is unplugged I pressed and held in the ON/OFF button. I plugged in the 120V cord. All the LED's flashed once, I released the ON/OFF the button, nothing in the manual about this sequence, I made it up just try something. Only the door lock LED was slowly flashing.

According to the manual, the door lock LED flashing indicates a fault but, no other LED's are flashing to give a fault code

I then started the "verifying normal operation steps", took about 10 minutes but the machine went through each step as described in the manual. Only step I did not do was the last one, to press the ON/OFF button to turn off the machine

Today going to try a complete wash / dry cycle with a couple light towels, see how that goes

Thanks for the comments and Old-Biscuit, thanks for the tech manual

You would think that Splendide tech support would have told you about that procedure!

Splendid WD2100 XC all light rapidly flashing

Have you tried the clean cycle procedure? When all my lights were flashing, Splendide suggested there was low air flow.
PROCEDURE FOR CLEARING LINT FROM MACHINE’S INTERIOR DUCT

1.Run the unit without clothes and with the dry time off on cycle # 11.
2.When the water stops entering the unit push and hold the start button until all the lights come on then release the button.
3.Next, move the cycle knob to cycle # 2 and press the start button once (do not hold).
4.Let it run through that complete cycle.
5.Do this twice.

If in frequent use, do this once each month to avoid buildup.

If the above treatment fails, try it again, adding a cup of white vinegar to break down the deposited soap and fabric softener

Awesome Jake21, I will try that and no Splendid did not give that advise, only to buy a new console board.

Right now the machine is doing a small load and I'm watching it through Alfred my security cam while I'm back at the office. Started the cycle hour 10 minutes ago appears to be in spin mode now. Something goes wrong I'm only three minutes away

Wish is knew how to share the video feed spying on my washing machine from the office but, would be boring TV!

UPDATE, it just finished the load one hour 45 minute using wash setting #5

Try that clean out procedure. It will astound you, the quantity of lint , etc., released. My DW now follows this protocol every four months or so.

Tried the clean out procedure three times, still the all lights flashing, ran out of time last night. Will now try with vinegar tonight

For those that know, is the clean cycle and dial set to #11 to put in a lot of water? #2 setting speeds up the entire cycle? How long are your clean out cycles taking in time? Mine took an hour and half for each one

Thanks all for the advise
