Splendide 2100 Dryer problem

We have a 04 Essex with a Splendide 2100 washer/dryer comb. that workers great except that when it goes to dryer setting the dial starts spinning and does not heat up. I know in the past when we had problems that the red light flashes codes but it just blinks so fast there is no way to read any codes. Thanks for suggestions.

Since the combo has the error code flashing function, I bet there's a pretty good troubleshooting guide available for download. Try a Google search for the make and model # followed by 'troubleshooting guide' or 'service manual.' If you can diagnose the problem better, a trip to an appliance parts store might make it possible for you to remove and replace a component. From your description of: "the dial starts spinning and does not heat up" I'd guess it might need a new dryer control switch, but I'd not buy one on my say so. Download the manuals and go through the diagnostics. Good luck with it.
