Determined that the chattering I hear when the washing machine is running is the hot water valve closing. Found the part number to be 090212, however I can’t find the valve anywhere.

Does anyone know where to get a new valve or found a suitable replacement?

I do have a message in at Splendide but have yet to hear back.

I have an older (2000) Splendide Washer Dryer combo and recently had to a Cold Water valve go bad. They no longer support the water valves. Someone found that Samsung valves will work. The valve numbers are DC62-30312J (Cold) and DC62-30314K (Hot.) There were minor differences but the biggest one was the hose connection threads. The Samsung use a standard (US) connection, Splendide uses a finer thread (maybe metric). I replaced the hoses to solve that problem. Got valves on Amazon.

Looking at the parts list, the WD2000S (before 406) takes the same valves as my WD2100. Do you know if you have a "before 406"? I can't find a photo of my valves so it is hard for me to identify if the Samsung parts will work.

Not sure what before 406 means.
Mine is WD 802 built in 1999.

Call Westland at the phone number you were given. Give them the SN of your unit. They have almost everything you need in stock.

Did that, they have the valve without the solenoid. However, since my solenoid is the issue I prefer to replace the entire unit especially with the amount of work it will take to get the machine out into the open where it can be worked on. The only thing they suggested is an ohm test, but not sure that buys me anything.
