Splendide WD2100, Replace Circuit Board
I'm wondering if anyone has had experience trying to replace the circuit board on a Splendide 2100... Through my research, I discovered that it is located near the bottom at the back of the unit (facing washer / dryer). My question is:
Are you able to get to the board without removing the entire W/D from the cabinet? It is already 10 " away from the back wall of the coach and I can easily slide it out an additional 10" to 14". Fortunately, there is an access panel in the Cabinetry which allows me to get to the appropriate area at the back of the W/D. It's about 10 inches wide and almost the same height as the Splendide W/D... hopefully enough room to squeeze my arms and head inside (even my huge head!). I have attached some pictures to give people an idea of what I'm dealing with. If I am able to accomplish this without removing the entire machine, it will save me a service call. I simply do not have another person available to help me maneuver this monster. But sliding - I can do!
The first 3 pictures are of my unit installed in the cabinet. The last 2 (showing the back side) were posted by user "Don Voyage" on March 13th 2015. I thought it would help people understand my battle. Thank you Senior Member "Don Voyage" - got to give credit where credit is due!
Any advice / ideas are certainly welcome....

The pictures showing the circuit board , are taken of a washer , not a washer/dryer combo .
I had my combo unit out to clear a lint clog in the flex vent from the drum to the back housing and don't remember seeing a board down below the drum.
My unit is 5 years old , things may have changed from year to year.

Unless someone with your exact coach has done exactly what you are describing you dont know.
You will only know when you try it.
Looks like it is worth the try though. I do know if you open the door on the W/D place your hand palm up inside the opening and grab the top of the opening you can lift the units front feet off the floor and drag it forward. Then when you are back there put a small piece of card board or carpet under the back legs and you can slide it back the same way. A piece of string to tether the pieces of cardboard will allow you to remove them when done.
Sounds like I have done this alone before dosent it?
Good luck and keep us posted please

Spendide ARWXF 129W repair: We have pulled the washer out, and can see the control board. However, we cannot find a way to release it from the washer. Pushed, pulled, pried. It just won't let go. Any tips?

Splendide washer control boar
So, when push, pull, pry does not work, simply unscrew the two little screws and SLIDE the unit to the side. It then comes out, easy as pie.

FWIW, I had two circuit boards fail on my old WD2000. Both had issues with the "hot" terminal connections burning. After the second one failed, I started turning off the breaker when traveling and had no issues for about 7 more years. Since then, I have made it a point to travel with the WD breakers off and have had no issues for about 15 years. Remember that turning the switch off on most modern appliances doesn't really turn them off, it just puts them into some kind of standby mode.
