Strange plumbing issue

My water system worked fine when I went into storage in September. I emptied the water heater to service it, and left it dry as I wasn't leaving for a few months. At some point the winterizing drain for the hot side developed a leak and emptied the water tank. When I got to this campsite and hooked up city water, I have NO hot water anywhere, and ... stranger still ... only cold on the left side. No cold to the galley, toilet, or washer drier. I plan to put water into the hot side via the hot water inlet for the washer and see if I can't break that log jam, but only half the cold working? No valves were thrown, the water is super filtered coming in, so debris (that could stop city water pressure?) not likely. I'm getting by - the resort has a hot shower - but it's on a check list I'd love to solve. Thanks for any thoughts.

That is strange. Wonder if you have a kinked hose? Not sure how your lines are run near slides etc. But a kinked line seems like a reasonable explanation. I doubt it is simple an obstruction from a foreign object unless a valve disintegrated. Not sure how easy it is to check for a kinked line.

I assume that "no" mean no flow?

The hot water heater did not get turned on before being filled with water, correct?

My 6 gallon water heater collects a lot of junk in the bottom. I try to flush it out yearly with a wand, but I can stick my finger in the drain and feel a lot left in the bottom. This crud could maybe get into the lines and create a blockage?

On my system winterizing involves closing valves near the inlet and outlet of the water heater and opening a bypass. I think this prevents filling the water heater with anti-freeze (I've never winterized, so not sure what I'm talking about here).

Good luck.
