Suburban water heater

Has anyone experienced when u put on water heater on propane it goes right to default immediately?. Appreciate some help suggestions

Suburban
Turn Gas switch ON....Light comes ON
Gas Flame ignites and PROVES it lit----Light goes OFF
Light stays ON....Flame failure

That is typically due to Spark Electrode
It provides High Voltage Spark for Ignition AND return path for Flame Proving Signal (milliamp generated by the flame)

Loose connection at circuit board (backside of WH Tank)
Loose wire in the Ceramic Insulator on electrode
Cracked Ceramic Insulator
Dirty Electrode

Put a new control module in same results lite goes directly into default anybody have that problem before? Thanks

What is default you mention? Igniter clicks but fails to light? Switch does nothing? Something else?
