Surburban Furnace wireing

I replaced my Coleman Mach AC with new AC unit that has remote thermostat and did not realize it but threw out the AC control box with the old unit as the new one only needed the AC to run. Now furnace fan will not turn on and I guess it has something to do with the small wires that were connected to the AC control box. Can the furnace run without the AC control box. Thanks for any help

Electrical and electronics designers can make their creations walk, talk, and blink its big blue eyes at you. Post make and model of thermostat, A/C and any other individual component for better advice.

Installation instructions for these devices are what you need. Old-Biscuit may have memorized all these different devices, but us ordinary people need the wiring diagrams an installation instructions.

I see you are not getting a lot of responses. Please hold the red and small white wires together for 1 minute and tell me if the furnace starts. (Wires in top picture)

The red wire has 12VDC and the missing control box sends the 12VDC back down the white wire to the furnace telling it to start.

You will need to disconnect the two wires after the test.

Let me know.

If nothing happens, use a meter and tell me if you have 12VDC on the red wire when testing from the red wire to larger white/blue wire.
