Tank Fill
Good morning all!
I've contaced the dealer but they haven't been much help. I'm trying to figure out how to fill the wanter tank. It's a new unit and the few times we've used it we've been connected to water. But an upcoming trip we will need to use the fresh tank.
The units I've owned in the past all had been gravity fill. Any ideas on how to fill up the tank? I assume it doesn't work using gravity so would it be using the water pump to suck water into the tank?

Welcome aboard...suggest your go to the "Edit Signature" and create one so folks know what year, brand, model you have. You will get much better answers that way. Many different ways for rigs to get water in the tanks...best answer will come from the owners that have one like yours.

Going on nothing but the photo posted, you are currently set to fill your Fresh water tank. The valve just above the black "MAKE SURE ALL FAUCETS. . . " label looks to be set for tank fill. Connect your fw hose to the connector in the lower left and fill. I believe that valve must be turned vertical to operate.
NOTE: The above is based on reason and experience with other systems notably different from yours. Good Luck.

Thanks TexasJAck. I had it set on "System Use" while I had it hooked to cty water and it worked fine. So you're saying to hook the hose up to the City Water piece? How does the water get into the tank? Doesn't there have to be a pushing or pulling effect? Or would it still be considedred "gravity" fill?

Follow the diagram
The diagram shows system use and tank fill. You have the two valves set to system use. Hook the hose up to the city water connection and turn your valves (small white levers) to match the diagram for tank fill. The lever on the left needs to face the 12:00 position and the lever below it & to the right needs to face the 9:00 position. Make sure you place the levers back to system use after you are done adding water to the tank even if you are not hooked to city water. Not usre what is meant by "system use" and "city water hook up" but it is all about the position of those levers.

Makes perfect sense, thank you! It's odd, I can't even get the levers to match "City Water Hookup/Winterize," I can't get either of them to the 6:00 position.
It would have been nice for FR or the dealer to spell it out, with instructions. All we got was a pat on the back and a "see you later, have fun."

Sadly your owners manual does not address the valve settings in your picture. It explains filling the tank but not how.
The pictorial on the left( bottom in your picture) shows the directional lever settings to fill the fresh water tank. After the tank is full, the right(top) pictorial settings are used, otherwise the pump will simply recirculate the water in the tank, which causes the pump to run constantly with no water at the faucets.
