Tankless water heater installation

Hi,
I just got a Fogatti tankless water heater. Reading through the instructions it says,
"RV hot water heater shall be installed on a solid, non-combustible floor, other than wood flooring) or on a non-combustible frame. If the surrounding of the opening is a non-combustible material, use a flame retardant insulating material such as heat-insulating mat or heat-insulating board to completely segregate the back surface of the water heater from the combustible surface."

I feel good about hooking everything up and its essentially a plug and play for my old water heater. Just worried about what might need to go around it. It does not come with anything and all of the videos I watch dont show others putting anything around it.

Anyone install a tankless and leave it uncovered? Meaning without any styrofoam insulation or other flame retardant material around it?

Its going under a bed that my daughter sleeps in, which is why Im trying to be extra careful.

Thanks for the feedback.
