Thetford Tecma toilet won't flush
I have spent much time reading various forums in hopes of finding a solution to my Tecma toilet problem. I have the older controller type with 1 push button in a 2005 Fleetwood Revolution. The toilet will fill with water but will not flush. I hear the normal clicking noises from the control panel going through the various cycles. I removed the toilet and have checked for 12v power. There is 12v power at the water solenoid valve on the backside of toilet but no power is measured at the connection to the macerator pump. Small green light is lit up on the control panel.
I have read that others had success in "re-setting" control panel by cutting off the power supply. I did this (green light went out, kept it that way for over 2 min) but problem of no power to macerator pump is still there.
Additionally, I found a 12v 7.5amp fuse in side of bed frame that is marked for this toilet. It does not have any voltage coming to this fuse (checked with multimeter) but other fuses in same fuse block do have 12v power. This has been very frustrating trying to find the problem source. Any other ideas out there? Does power run from the batteries, to the control panel, then to the 12v fuse, then back to the macerator pump. This is what I'm beginning to believe and that the control panel may be the problem. I have contacted Thetford technical support and hope to get a reply within a few days.

I have the installation manual for this toilet. PM me if you want it. the 7.5 amp fuse sounds to small for the macerator supply. Mine has #8 wires feeding the macerator.

I would much appreciate the installation manual. Plan to work on the toilet issue again tomorrow.
Many thanks,

Thanks, I did this and the pump motor runs! So now i believe the problem source is the control panel. Thetford tech service isn't sure since panel is lit up. I know my house batteries need replacing as they wont hold a charge very long after disconnecting shore power and the pump is hooked to one of them. Maybe there's not enough voltage even though batteries are fully charged? Therefore I will connect to one chassis battery to see if this may make the pump work. If not, I guess I'll have to change the control panel, not an easy job due to harness routing ☹️

I have the Tecma toilet(s) as well. We have two of the newer types with two buttons. Don't be intimidated by routing of the wires. I just changed both of my panels because the buttons lost their elasticity and fell out. They are a little pricey. Especially if you buy two. I did not change the entire wire harness as you allude to doing. Go to back side of panel. Pull a foot of wire out of the wall and cut the old harness and splice the new one in right there. It sounds like you have a bad panel. Good luck. It is not a big deal. You have done the heavy lifting already.

Well I determined the problem was the control panel. I ordered a new one from Amazon (much cheaper than through Thetford) and installed it today. Problem resolved! Took about 1 hour to complete.
