Thetford toilet running!

We have a thetford toilet style 2. The water runs on it if you don't pick up the foot pedal firmly after flushing. Any solutions?

If you don't watch that one it will flood your RV, I promise it will. It has happened to a ton of RVer's It did ours twice! They will send parts for free to fix, I know a guy that did three times still didn't work.
I bought a 310 dometic great toilet.

Send a message via Skype™ to LandKinaMoho
Service the system or 35 bucks gets you a new valve.

I added a low voltage switched valve next to the toilet...those $35 parts tend to be finicky, after flooding the rig a few times I just hit the switch now, water to bowl is off....

My friend got three valves free from the company, and they still didn't work for him.

Take out the water valve and lubricate it with silicone. If you have the side petal make sure when you replace it the spring is inserted into the right spot.

Had the same issue with ours, turns out that the rinse hose had gotten tangled under the foot pedal preventing it from fully shutting off. We had been lifting the pedal by foot and actually crimped the rinse hose. Rerouted the hose to keep it away from the foot pedal.
