Tiffin Style A/C System Elsewhere?

I’ve been trying to figure out if any other “normal” motorhomes have the Tiffin style AC system. (FYI by normal I mean more or less affordable, not in 500K + coaches). I’m more specifically looking at gas rigs, and they definitely seem to be the only ones.

Their ACs are ducted straight from the roof and do not have the loud cut out and fan in the living area, just the vents and returns throughout. It doesn’t seem too outrageous, yet I can’t seem to find anyone else using it.

Anyone ever come across any others?

Thanks

Newmar Bay Star, a gas class A, has ducted ACs. The Winnebago Adventurer gas class A had them through 2017.

Just clarify, I don’t mean just ducted air vents, as just about every Motorhome has those. What I am referring to is the kind that don’t involve the AC main body and return sticking through the ceiling, which is the main cause for their loud operation. Tiffins design is closer to the quiet ACs in some 5th wheels that just have the returns and vents in the living area but the noise maker is completely separated on the roof, therefore significantly quieter.

If you search YouTube for Tiffin AC their video should come up describing what I am talking about. I posted the link below, but not sure if it will work since I’m posting from the phone.

Our friends have a Fleetwood Discovery and it has a similar ducted system with no return grill poking through the ceiling.

Our 2013 Newmar Dutch Star HVAC was exactly that way, Newmar has been using it for a long time.

I believe it's used through most of their lineup.

Edit: Looking at Newmar's website it looks like the Canyon Star has it.

Yes, the Newmar Baystar (not the Baystar Sport) has that, as did the Winnebago Adventurer until 2017. It’s also a must have for me. :-)

Thanks for the input.

Looks like the Bay Star Sport does have it now, as far as I can tell. These websites can be terrible with there lack of info, yet they do have a 9 page info sheet on the ford chassis that is in every modern gas motorhome of the market, not even remotely unique to Newmar.
