Toilet replacement.

Getting ready to replace my Thetford Aqua Magic style ii with a new one. Can I use a wax flange seal as in my home bathroom or must I use a rubber (foam) seal?
Thanks,
Chuck

The FOAM one

Wax Rings like residential are not used due road vibration/heat etc

Course if you want to try it...go ahead they will fit the floor flange and compress when toilet is reset.

Foam seal that comes with the toilet.

Having replaced my toilet, I vote for the previous recommendation: Use the ring that comes with your new toilet. There's a reason it comes with the rubber/foam ring, they're different applications.

I hate wax seals, anywhere. Even if Thetford used a wax seal I'd want a neoprene one. But as OB observed, in this application a neoprene one is much to be preferred.
