Toilet Seat Repair/Replacement

2007 Fleetwood Southwind
Dometic Sealand 110/210 Traveler Lite Toilet
Seat Part # 385344088

1 of the 2 clips that hold the seat to toilet at the back had become so brittle it just broke apart.

1. Has anyone managed to 'retrofit' some attachment to the seat so you can screw it onto the toilet?....or

2. Has anyone used an aftermarket seat that will fit, holes lining up, onto these toilets? Or do I have to take the seat into stores and compare haha.

The cost of an OEM seat is brutally expensive for what it is...

Thanks in advance,

Ron

I replace the one on my 04 Southwind with one from Lowe's. I looked for one that wasn't too thick (height).

Just replaced “ The Throne “ in our coach with a new Aqua Magic Plus. The new unit had a plastic seat which we can’t stand. We installed a slow close Mayfair Benton wooden seat. Was a direct bolt on with no issues.Purchased from Amazon.
The new Throne is a porcelain bowl but I don’t think that has an impact versus plastic.

I bought a replacement toilet seat for my RV at Walmart. About $15.

I bought this set of replacement hinges that fit perfectly. They were white and the toilet was bone but it wasn't noticeable.
