Transfer switch question

I have a Class C with a Cummins 4KW gas generator.
When shore power cuts out and you fire up the generator, the transfer switch switches after about 30 seconds to the generator. All good. When shore power returns, should the transfer switch then go back to the shore power or no?

Mine does not unless I turn the genny off.

Yours is working correctly...

Generator has 'priority' so until gen is shutdown transfer switch remains on Gen Side

Another vote for the "this is normal" side. Transfer switches can be wired to work any number of ways but what you're describing is common.
