TRC 44270 - Surge Protector




Is this surge Protector worth my time or do I need to spend several thousand dollars to protect my rig?

For 15 years, we've had a Progessive Industries EMS. Much better than just a surge protector. You don't have to spend thousands - just a few hundred. But it will save you thousands if you've hooked up to bad/incorrectly wired power or when you have spikes/drops.

All takes is one time without such protection to fry thousands of dollars in electronics on your coach. Ours has saved our coach on more than half a dozen situations.

Go with the Progressive Industries EMS. Some of the other will not provide you the full protection you really need. If they do the lower price one are usually disposable (needs to be replaced) after the first fault.

This could leave you high in dry in a remote location.
