Part of the beauty of lithium, if you have 200 amp hours of lithium and you run down to 0% state of charge, you can charge at 200 amps for 1 hour and fully recharge your batteries. Of course if you only have a 100 amp charger, will take 2 hours. If you have a battery monitor that reads amp/hrs in and amp/hrs out, pretty easy to figure out how long a charge will take.

So.....if I understand this correctly then to recharge/replace 200 amp hrs of lithium discharge with a solar array putting out 40 charging amps, I would need about 5 hrs of good sun, correct?

Yes. lithium will take a 1C charge rate, meaning you can recharge a 200 a/h battery at 200 amps if you have that, if not, it will take any lesser amount till charged. A further advantage, unlike LA batteries they never need to be brought to 100% SOC. My coach has a large parasitic draw, and is not plugged in, so on a sunny day may charge to 90%, if cloudy for a couple of days, may drop to 30%. Probably has not been to 100% in months. This would not work with a LA battery.
