Victron BMV 712, solar charger MPPT 150 I85 TR

Can someone help me understand power usage and how to read the data on the Vitron app?

I replaced all house batteries and chassis batteries and want to better understand my solar setup that came with the RV.

The BMV is wired to just monitor battery (no mid point, temp., or second battery connections).

I'm confused as why my BMV is reading 100% battery capacity when I know it should be more like 80% (based on the inhouse battery monitor on the Xantrex 458 and battery voltage being around 12.5). I'm not plugged in to shore, and I had the inverter running the fridge to hopefully drain the batteries some.

At night in darkness, I would turn on the microwave but the "current" reading remains 0. Is this correct? The battery voltage would drop which would indicate the power being drawn, right?

I attached some photos of the readings during sunlight with the inverter on and the fridge running. Do the readings look correct?

I wish I screenshotted the night readings but I switched aux modes and the history deleted. Now I need to recharge the batteries and let the BMV sync again, and run some more tests in a few days.

If someone could point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it. I thought maybe I need to look at the settings and maybe the BMV is resyncing to 100% too often for whatever reason?

I'm also reading that since these are brand new batteries, I haven't had enough charge cycles for the BMV to collect data. ??

Congrats on the Victron equipment. Top notch quality gear.

You will have to reset the SOC parameter on the BMV to "teach it" when the battery is "full". After you have done that it should track the discharge and charge cycles very accurately.

If you don't have the manual for the BMV-712 you can download it from here:
