Washer & dryer

Hello all. I just bought a 2015 Heartland Bighorn 3875FB and looking at washers & dryers. Any advice on stack-able or all-in-one brands? Any and all help is appreciated.

Yep, HI & Welcome!

I've had both. If space permits it, get the stackable. It takes WAY longer to do loads in a combo because you can't be drying one load while washing another as you can in a stackable. The combo unit (Splendide) I had also didn't have a temp set on the dryer part. HOT was the only option & that left lots of wrinkles if I wasn't keeping tabs on how long a load was drying.

I had a combo in my 2007, it worked great for the 13 yrs we owned the RV.
I have the stackable Units in my 2020. They work great too.
Just remember if you use both the washer and dryer at the same time you use 3 ACs in the hot summer, they will shed your ACs. It will get hotter in the RV if it’s hot outside in summer.
My combo unit never shed the ACs.

Just something to consider. Especially if you live in the south

Fulltimers here..
Had the Combo Splendide [vented to outside] gave up after 19 years, replaced with the latest Splendide stacked [also vented outside,] Massive improvement! [cleaner clothes and the dryer now has the residential style lint filter.
[ran 4 loads today, good for another week.]

We have had the Splendide 2100 combo (vented) for the past 7 years. We are not full timers, but we do stay out for up to 6 weeks at a time. Although it would be nice to have separate units, our rig only has a spot for the combo. Can't imagine life without it.

Had the Combo Splendide vented to outside. I was in Conn's and they have an all in one the will fit in an RV with a larger capacity, they also sell stackables that will fit.
