Washer - Dryer Selection

Wife and I have been full timing in a Redwood 5th wheel for 7 years. We've decided to stay where we are (minimal travel) and would like to buy a washer dryer. Need some help on determining best option. Here's what we believe we know so far:

- We want a stackable set. We've read from numerous posts that stackable is much better than w/d combo's.
- We understand Spendide is the primary brand used for RV's and is designed for travel.
- Since we aren't traveling much, don't believe we need the special design of Splendide and would like to consider Whirlpool, GE and other, more standard brands.
- Seems like size is a problem with the standard brands. Width seems fine (2 feet width is available),but depth available is 2 feet where most standard brands need 27"or more.
- Doorway from kitchen to bedroom is 2 feet wide; no problem. Doorway from bedrooom to master bath is 22" wide. How the heck do you get any w/d through that space?
- Also prefer to have WD delivered and installed; as opposed to doing it ourselves. If required to do Splendide, is there a way to have it delivered and installed by someone who knows what they are doing?

Thoughts? Recommendations? Thanks!

Our previous RV was a 2013 Redwood 36RL. I had the Splendide washer and separate Splendide dryer installed by the dealer. I also had a drip pan, available at Home Depot installed under the washer and the pan drain pipes to the gray tank.

The dryer was vented to the outside. The install was within the 36RL's slideout closet (bedroom slide) which had been rewired and plumbed for the side by side install. There was no issue in door clearances in getting the units into our Redwood. Install was about two hours.

The Splendide units were troublefree and did a great job. I ordered our new 2018 Tiffin motorhome with the same two units.

As an engineer ( seriously retired) I consider the Splendide units to be among the best I have owned. That company also makes many other appliances for the home and are popular in both America and Europe.

They cost a little more however they do a great job while being troublefree.

I also had a Splendide dishwasher added to the Redwood's kitchen island. Redwood supplied matching cabinet doors complete with hardware. The dishwasher was also installed by the dealer. As the island was prep'ed by Redwood for the dishwasher the install was about one hour.

I really miss the dishwasher in the motorhome however that addition is on my list.
