Water heater has very low output with hot water

I have a 10 gallon water heater in my class A RV.
Heats the water just fine, but at the output of hot water nozzel.,, just a drizzle. This is at the output of the water heater. A hot drizzel, but a drizzle. Input city water is normal pressure, and cold water pressure is normal. Same issues with city water off, and pump on. Any suggestions will help.

Did you see my note on your other post about a back flow valve in the fitting on the water heater ?

Could you post a picture of the plumbing on the back of the heater , so I can see if any potential problems exist.

If you have an Atwood Hester it may have a mixing valve on the back. It can start to fail and cause a decreased hot water flow. You might particularly notice an immediate good flow switching quickly to inadequate flow. I just had the mixing valve removed as there was not a new one available at that time. We just do the mixing at the faucet. WARNING this can be dangerous.

cannot get to the back of it, all enclosed, so I did sort-of solve the problem. I disconnected the hot water outlet hose, and put 40 1bs of air pressure into it from an air compressor. solved the problem for now.

That is because the check valve is Cheap Plastic junk that clogs up/fails

Gut the internals...install a Sharkbite Shutoff valve and be done with it

You probably have lots of calcium in the hot water tank. One big chunk will cause this. Let the tank cool, relieve the pressure, remove the anode (drain) plug and rinse out the tank well. Back flush the outlet line also.
And check the faucet screens, probably also full of calcium too.
And yes, those check valves are junk. Bypass it.
Good luck.
