Water heater kicking out

I've had issues with my water heater kicking out since I bought my '13 Jayco 5th wheel RV. Dealership has made 3 attempts to repair, but still kicking out. It's not throwing breaking or not blowing a fuse. But anytime you use hot water, the electric mode kicks off, and you can turn it off for few min and then turn back on and it will reset and heat the water again. Dealership has replaced thermostat, which I told them it heats up after you reset it, so I didn't think that was the problem. They also replaced the regulator 2 times, but it's still not fixed. I believe it's in the relay switch causing this issue. I have 2 separate switches, one to operate heater with electricity and a separate switch to heat water using LP. I does not kick out using LP. But on electric it kicks out, and the pin light above the LP switch will light up, like it's telling me to switch over to LP. Has anyone else had these issues with Atwood Hot Water heaters?

Ok couple things.

Your water heater has an electric element, and an electric element control board (with red reset button)

You should be able to find the precise model on the heater from the outside.
Camping world will have new elements, and you could probably change this yourself.
I wonder if the atwoods have an overtemp cutoff? Possibly the water is getting too hot and turning itself off either because the element is bad or the control board is bad or the thermostat is too high.

Given the age, I would attempt calling atwood, they may or may not talk to you, but I would imagine they have some sort of tech support that might lead you to a conclusion.

If all else fails, even changing the whole heater is not that big of a deal, but my first suspect is the heating element, second suspect is the control board. If it was turned on while dry, the element could be damaged.

Knowing the model number allows to locate the specific docs on the unit.

Wonder if these guys could help over the phone, this page is a mess but they seem to know what they are doing.

Thanks plasma800, it possibly could be a high temp cutoff. I will try and turn my thermostat down and see. I don't think it's a bad element because it always heats the water up after I turn it off a moment and then turn it back on.
