Water pressure

If I use water pump alone it continous runs & I have very little pressure(all faucets closed). If I hook up city water, turn pump off, no water @ faucets. With city water hooked up & pump on, I have great water pressure & pump will shut off when u stop using water!

Do you have water in your fresh water tank? If not you won't get much with the pump running. You might have a problem with your water inlet check valve. How much pressure do you have coming into RV?

After double checking, I must have turned off the city water. So city water works fine. Have good water pressure @ all faucets. Don't have a gauge, but believe I'm in a normal range. Fresh water tank is full.
If I leave my house faucet turned on w/valve on RV set to water fill, it seems to be supplementing enough water to allow the pump to turn off when I close all faucets. That would indicate inlet ck valve?

I think if you leave the "water fill" valve on, the pump will cycle water to/from the fresh tank. To my knowledge, the only time you ever set that valve to "fill" is when you are actually filling the fresh water tank from city water--plumbing varies by rig but this a pretty universal outcome.....
