Not sure about this.
But most Westinghouse branded stuff is Chinese or Korean if you are lucky.
Their electronics like TV are horrible.

The power output looks nice, but the sound specs are misleading. They claim 12% quieter than industry standard, but the levels they list for the competition tells a different story, and is comparing apples to oranges. They claim 52db vs 59db for the Honda. Wrong. They are listing their sound level at 25% load but then list the Honda's sound at full load.

Westinghouse: 52db @ 25% (525W), 59db @ 50% (1050W)
Honda: 53db @ 25% (400W), 59db @ 100% (1600W)

So while the Westinghouse is slightly quieter at low loads, it actually reaches 59db at only half load, vs full load for the Honda. No specs on what the Westinghouse sounds like at full load (hmmm, I wonder why?). Sure would be nice if all of the manufacturers were actually honest about their products.

YES. And, in addition to load level, the specifications should include distance from the source (sound degrades with distance).

Remember, "Figures don't lie, but lairs figure"
