What size propane cap for capping water heater line?
Hello all. I need to cap off the propane line that connects to the water heater. Does anyone know what size cap I need?
I have the Atwood GCH6A-10E water heater. The line has a female flare and a nut around it. I think the nut is 3/8 but I can't seem to find a cap that will fit with the female flare that looks like its 1/4?. I just need it temporarily capped until I can make it home.

I think this is what you are looking for. DO NOT use TFE tape or dope on this type fitting.
