Hey Guys,

I'm so confused.

I have one blade style disconnect. Do I need one or two to disconnect these batteries?

and where do I put it?

Thanks!

Dirt conducts electricity when it get moist, hose them off.

A cut off switch can be placed at the blue line.Click image for larger version

I see 4, 6V batteries. I would put the disconnect in the negative cable from the battery bank that goes to the frame. My reasoning is, some MH's have more than 1 positive cable attached to the battery bank, but usually only have one negative cable between the bank and frame.

You only need one disconnect switch. Put it in either the main positive cable or the main negative cable.

If you have a Magnum inverter, check instructions. Many of them require the positive cable to the Magnum be disconnected first. In this case put the disconnect in the main positive cable.

Looks to me like there are at least 1 power cable coming off the positive post on the back left battery, too. So, sorry twinboat I can't agree with your answer. There are also negative power cables on both negative posts of the right side batteries. In my view you need to use two of the blade style disconnects to disconnect all loads. In my view this would be easier than trying to extend cables to all reach to one post or the other.
