Xantrex 458 Breakers

2003 Fleetwood Discovery: No power to microwave due to lower breaker on Xantrex 458 inverter tripping. Took it to a dealer and they said I needed to replace 4-coach batteries and inverter. Too costly so I am trying to fix myself. Replaced coach batteries and now need to troubleshoot the inverter. Any advise as to what could cause breaker for microwave to trip would be helpful. Is it possible that the inverter has an internal fuse that may need to be replaced? Thanks - Tom

The manual for the Xantrex 458 Inverter is here: http://www.xantrex.com/documents/Inv...-01_rev-2).pdf

That breaker is an output breaker which is intended to open if the load (microwave in this case) is higher than what the breaker is rated for. Have you verified the Microwave is working correctly and is it connected to the correct amperage breaker on the Inverter (ie did someone inadvertantly swap the outputs)?
