Xantrex 458 issues

I have replaced all the house batteries, they are now ‘holding’ at 11.7 bolts. My Xantrex shows it is charging, but I am not believing it.. assoc when I disconnect shore power, it doesn’t show anything . With shore power, the inverter light blinks however, when I disconnect SP, all lights go dead.
Need ideas on what to check or if I need to just buy a new one.

By " all lights go dead " do you mean that none of the coach interior lights work from the batteries ?

You need to look for a large fuse in the cable between the battery bank and the inverter ; if this fuse is bad the inverter maybe producing a charge , but that voltage will never reach the batteries .

Your house batteries are dead, that’s why they appear to be holding. Find the inverter reset breaker for the 12v on the inverter. If it isn’t the problem start checking voltage from the batteries to the inverter. Also check for voltage at the ground side all the way back to the batteries. You should use a new small wire from the battery ground to your meter ground. Touch the + lead of the meter to grounds from the inverter to the battery. If you see more than .5 or so volts you have a bad ground.
