I replaced my Inverter/Charger and am wondering if the one that quit working is worth keeping or should I just throw it in the trash can?

Would surely depend on what is wrong with it. Was it working when replaced???

If not, could be something as simple as a fuse or a component that means it is off to be recycled.

Since it is MSW, probably not worth a lot of time/effort.

Since you already replaced it, I would open it up and look around inside to get some information about it. Is there an internal fuse that could have blown?
Stuff like that, more knowledge. Look around on the inside may help later.

Yes, I helped somebody out that the inverter went out, turned out a blown fuse was the issue, saved them some money. I took a friend's bad inverter, opened it and played around then I found a bad fuse in his. Replaced the fuse and gave it back to him, now he has a spare inverter.

The mobile RV repair tech who works with these said it needed to be replaced. He suggested that I order one on line to save me money. When I got it he replaced it. Before I throw it away I'll look at the fuses.

What was it not doing?
What did Mobile Tech state was wrong requiring the replacement?
