Xantrex RC7 remote Problems

I have a 2005 Newmar Dutch Star with a Xantrex 2000 watt RV GS 2012 rv series inverter/generator with a RC7 remote in the front of the coach over the last little while I have noticed very low battery readings so have been running the genny to charge them up as the problem persisted I started to investigate further when checking the batteries with the multi meter I find they reading 12.8 while both my inside gauges read 11.2 having checked multiple times I am still finding the low readings on my two inside gauges but good readings with the multi meter I have no idea where to start looking for the problem and hope somebody can point me in the right direction I should add I also have 420 watts of solar charging the batteries all suggestions greatly appricated

For comparison sake can you pull the fuse from the panels to the batteries and read with the meter then.

you have a bad connection somewhere. Start cleaning all of them including the grounds. check the voltage on each side of any connection and the bad one will turn up. that includes any relays in the circuit. talking about your big battery cables, not all of the dc systems
