Just returned home from Camp Newmar. While there we asked them to look at the inverter as it was giving us fault messages, but would still function.
They claimed that our batteries on our 05 Dutch Star were weak.
Got home & replaced them.
Inverter on the trip home was alternating from invert to load sense.
Planning on calling Xantrex in the AM.
Anyone had this come up?

If you do need to replace batteries and you often "live" off of them, you may want to concider putting in AGM's instead of lead acid batteries. Once you have a good power source retry the inverter and let us know the results.

"load sense" just means that not enough power draw to activate inverter -- usually settable from about 5 watts to 30; also, you shoudl be able to disable load sense and force the inverter on; the load sense feature is used to reduce power drain on your batteries by not activating the inverter until really needed

I tried to disable the "load sense" featureon the panel, however it did the same thing (shut the power off), and in doing so enabled the "load sense" feature again.
I'm clueless.
Could there be a drain somewhere that is depleting the power once applied.
We used the coach this weekend and had no issues on shore power or generator power.

couple of items -- some functions/features on the remote will be reset if it is disconnected/totally powered off and will reset to factory defaults;

short of actually disconnecting the battery cables there are usually some power drains going on no matter what -- for example the CO detecter, propane detecter, possible the fridge (even on propane you need some 12V;
