Ive been thinking of getting a license AGAIN... 1st license was 45 yrs ago, I was 11. I ONLY used code, never was comfortable on a mic. I got pretty good IMO
Got recruited by the Merchant Marines to be a radio telegraph operator but mom & dad wouldn’t sign the papers for my Great Adventure (graduated hs at 17) Amateur radio is a wonderful hobby and spoke with so many people over those years (King Hussein of Jordan, NASA astronauts to name a few) and coordinating emergency situations etc etc
