Rapid Radios? Heard of 'em?

Has anyone heard of these radios and/or experienced them?

Long ago the city used cell phones with walkie-talkie feature. It worked well and was handy.

This rapid radio seems like the same idea using the LTE network. Fine as long as there is cell coverage. With everything going to 5G, not sure of the LTE coverage. I'm surprised there isn't any monthly fee to use the cell network but could be built into the price of the radio.

First year cellular LTE service is included in purchase cost. Second year is $50.00 per radio. $50.00 per year is way cheaper then any cell plan. You can talk to anyone that has another radio programed to your group. Distance is not a problem as long as radio has LTE service. Radio has a bigger antenna then a cell phone so might get service where a cell phone would not.

What good are they if the cell towers go down? I'll keep my 70cm/2m HTs
