It amazed me that after an overnight and morning rain in bay area, still partial cloud and no direct sunshine on the panels, i saw 111a charge rate at 13.8v. That's 1532w out of 2750w, about 56%, better than normally 44% in a sunny but hazy day.

That is good, I am lucky to see 75 amps out of 1455 watts this time of year. Does 13.8 volt charge bring your batteries to 100% SOC? or do you have it set lower so you do not reach 100%.

No, 13.8v wasn't at 100% SOC. I set my charge voltage at 14.2v so at 13.8v likely it was 85% give or take, and probably still in bulk charge.

Thanks, BB says 14.4, but not sure that charging to 100% is the best policy, so have been thinking lowering it down a bit so charging shuts off at less than 100%. Still learning.

On solar alone (dry camping) I let solar charge at 14.2v and get 100% SOC. But in RV parks for extended stays I set both my solar controller and inverter to charge at 13.8v so to ease on batteries.

I enjoy and learn a lot from all of you, Thank you. I am getting close to starting mine. Do any or all of you have a post on your builds? The pictures help a lot with ideas.

Best solar production day yet! Tilting makes a big difference with the low winter sun sitting in the desert at Imperial Dam BLM. Not bad for 1100W.

1100w in 5 hours produced 7.4kwh, that's awesome!
