Hey XJescape.
Are you able to definitively state that the Super Start GC110DT 6V batteries are indeed 230 amp hours each?
I just bought a coach and they have this battery, but nowhere on it does it state the actual AH and I wanted to confirm for sure!
Thanks!
Jeff

To prevent sulfication the batteries must continuously brought back up to near 100%. The last stretch takes hours, so solar is a good supplement.
My Outback Nano-Carbon better tolerate a Partial-State-Of-Charge. They are no longer on the market.

I heard better things about Firefly Oasis carbon foam LA batteries. They don't need to be brought up to 100%, saving boaters a lot of diesel. Lasting X3 longer. But at these prices you might as well go Battle Born lithium.

If your do go for 6v flooded cells, consider a watering system.

If you want to stick with a GC2 flood type battery a Duracell GC2 with the same specifications (and probably manufactured at the same East Penn factory) for $30-$40 less.

I have used and become a big fan of Sams Club Duracell battys made in USA by East Penn, a respected batty mfg.
Their FLA 6V GCs are around $90 each so a pair providing 200+ AHs cost <$1/AH and are a true deep cycle batty.

If you are considering AGM - I've become a big fan of Duracell AGMs - they cost <$2/AH. I have had East Penn tech rep confirm that unlike FLAs, with AGMs their 12V GP 31 AGMs have the same deep cycle performance as 6V GC AGMs (And similar starting performance). So you have some choices depending on space available and AH desired.
