Best way to mount panels on a rubber roof?

I'm helping my brother install solar on his new RV that has a rubber roof. This is a beast I've never encountered. Are huge air bubbles standard with rubber roofs? What is the best way to secure panel tilt mounts?

New RV? Fix the roof (under warranty) first. Then its just a matter of using a couple of screws per bracket, one bracket each panel corner, and lots of Dicor.

Take that RV back to the dealer or factory and get the roof fixed!

Good luck!

Buy a roll of rubber roof repair. Cut a piece for each bracket and use the sticky side to adhere to your roof under each bracket. Screw it down and seal with Dicor.

Air bubbles could be a sign of moisture which in turn could cause fasteners to fail. If it were my coach I'd get the roof fixed professionally prior to thinking about installing panels.

I used a small pool of Dicor, placed the mounting bracket in the middle, ran in two stainless screws, covered screws with more Dicor.
