Correct wiring for installing Solar Charge Controller

I can't find the answer to this precise question anywhere.

I have four 6V LA batteries wired 2S/2P. I'm installing a solar system.

Do I wire the charge controller to the same two leads that are going from the battery bank to the coach? Or is there a better way?

Cheers,
B

Same, that's how the charger is wired.

The output of the solar charge controller needs to connect to your Pos/Neg coach battery terminals.

I would also highly recommend something like this (with appropriate amps) on your wire from your panels to your controller and from your controller to your batteries.

From time to time I find myself needing to turn off one or the other and this makes it VERY convenient. Also good for safety reasons.

Good luck!

I would suggest checking out the explorist.life website and YouTube channel. Tons of great info there!
