Has anyone installed/used an MPP Solar. IKVA-5KVA inverter/charger

These units look almost too good to be true.Easy peasy install without components spread out all over the place and will work a 400 watt solar lithium set up. Basically solar in a box except the panels and batteries.
I have watched Will Prowse you tube on it and he likes it. Would like to hear some actual use comments.
Thanks in advance

DariusB-

Could you post a link to a product? Also, it would be better (for me) if the link was not to a YouTube video. Thanks!

Sorry, the 400W solar only covers the internal idle current 24/7. Not the output.

That particular unit doesn't look like a good fit for an RV. The maximum AC charging input is listed at 20 amps, so you couldn't hook it up to 30 or 50 amp shore power.

This variation has a 60 amp changing circuit

I'm by no means an expert on this stuff. I've just been watching lots of YouTube videos and reading articles while planning to buy a new travel trailer.

these units are out there from a few suppliers... IMO not for me...

If you had bare slate enclosed trailer and was setting it up or a van,, then ok,, but to integrate or put into a modern RV... not sure.. yes anything can be made to work sort of..

I added a simple solar to my RV, Rv has a transfer switch/genny/inverter/ and a smart chg system that works well with 300ah of batteries..
I put 400watt with a budget 30A controller, adding another 100-200watts to max out controller.. 600watt on a perfect day, parked perfect may give me 30amps at 14.5V... right now at 400watts I get 14-18 amps 90% of the time in the sun to charge for 6-8 hours of the day,, Being in the north east.. mountain sun angle, season etc.. ..

Just sayin, sometimes simple is better,, I dont need blue tooth, I dont want to fiddle, as once it is working and set up,, I barely look at it,,
