Old vs New Comparison
I was doing some revisions on the solar training lab at work, updating the wiring and connectors on some old Astro Power AP-100 100 Watt modules and thought that I'd do a photo comparison to a new one of the same wattage. The first photo shows a new 2016 HQST 100-D monocrystalline module in front of the AP-100 from 2005. The second photo shows the AP-100, a Sharp NE-80 (80W) from 2006, and the HQST 100. Note that the Sharp and the HQST are identical in size. The Sharp looks larger because it is farther forward due to the legs mounted on the back of it.
