I’m finally wrapping up this project and thought I’d share.
I’ve added 6 Newpowa 220watt 10BB panels to the roof of my rig for a total of 1320 watts. I used the factory 8awg since these are wired 3S2P and 58v 24a to the controller. The controller is an Epever 100a model and is mounted on a board in the pass through. On that same board is another Epever but only 20a for the ground panels which I have 400 watts worth. Solar disconnect and a Giandel 2200watt inverter are also on that board. 110v from the inverter is connected to a progressive dynamics auto transfer switch next to the fuse panel. 12v from the charge controller’s are feeding 4-220a 6v Crown batteries on the tongue of the rig via 2/0 cable. Lithium will be a down the road project. I’m finding that the amount of solar coming in keeps my batteries topped off by 9 in the morning and I’ve even ran the AC from the inverter… not long but it ran
