Renogy Rover with lifeline AGM batteries.
My Simple Solar Project is now complicated
For the first time, I am storing my coach outside for the winter in SLC. The coach is going to be very cold in December and January.
I will not have access to any power, so I was thinking I could add 100W solar system to keep the battery in Float during the day. I can place the panel in my windshield and get full sun as the coach is pointing southward.
I been looking at the Renogy panels and the rover 20A controller. I have everything figured out...
Expect how to configure the system to work with my lifeline AGM batteries. The lifeline manual has a charting showing optimal float voltages depending on temperature. These values range from 13.6 to 14.52 at 10 degrees.
The Renogy controller allows me to set only 1 value. It does provide some kind of temperature compensation, but it is not specified.
Has anyone used the Rover with lifeline AGM batteries.
