Here is a real-world experience from yesterday in Lake Havasu City, AZ.

The photos show our 2000/2600W of panels mounted flat and then running the panels up to 45* over a 2-minute period of time.

You can see that the power generated more than doubled in this example. I noticed the wattage climbing all the way to the 45* tilt angle and dropping off a little after that (53* max tilt).

It was an eye-opener for me as I thought I would see 30% max increase

Paul, that looks like it would be a lot of work to tilt those panels. Here’s an easier way:

Really nice setup. The video was great. You should do a more detailed video of the build. Curious what you think the rack cost (no panels) and what you used for the tilting mechanism. Not going to build one just engineering curiosity.

That's the plan. We literally just finished it Friday morning and then drove it to the Xscapers Bash for 10 days of boondocking so haven't had a chance to build a video yet.

Still need to do some figuring on the build costs but stay tuned I'll post something within the next 10 days
