Two AGM Batteries, Victron Energy BlueSolar MPPT 100 30A

I'm trying out two Everstart AGM H7 batteries with only one 75 watt panel connected in line for storage purposes. So far the Victron controller is starting in bulk mode early, then into absorption and float the rest of the day light hours.
Wondering if I would be best served by removing the batteries and storing them on a shelf in the garage with a 1.5 amp battery tender plus.

leave them insalled and program it so it drops back to storage voltage. Its not a big deal to have it bulk charge but if the battery isnt drawn down you dont want to over charge and boil out to much of the acid. You should be useing adaptive charging and it should be set up to the AGM profile ( typical 14.6~14.8vdc for bulk charge and float to 13.4~13.8v and storage around 13.2 . 1.5 amp battery tender can only keep the batteries at 70% if its charging at the same time.

If you have the Victron set up for AGM batteries, leaving them connected to the solar system will be fine. Yes the Victron will go through the bulk, absorption and float cycles each time the sun comes up, but the bulk and absorption phases should be short with fully charged batteries.

But maybe your coach batteries are not fully charged after an overnight and that is causing a longer bulk and absortpion phase when the sum comes up. You should leave the battery disconnect switch off to minimize parasitic loads. But maybe the parasitic loads are still too high. Some multimeters have a 10A current measuring mode and that should be enough to check for parasitic current. It needs to be just a few tenths of an amp with the battery disconnect switch off.
