One feature I like is the ability to adjust the tail current. As my coach burns roughly 20amps an hour and float is entered around noon I can set the controllers to provide those amps in float.

My Victron Smart solar controller also has an Adaptive Absorption feature. When ON it can reduce or extend absorption time depending on batteries state of charge. Tail current feature is nice too, but far more effective with a Smart Shunt networked with the Smart controller. The blue tooth network is easy to setup.


This is all beyond the scope of the OP questions.
