Victron smart blue charger
I'm replacing the stock house battery charger with a Victron on a 2024 Minnie Winnie. Does anyone know where the stock charger is typically located?

Usually they are located within the main electrical panel that has the fuses and breakers.

In the sense of not over complicating things, I would not do it that way. I would replace your inverter with a Victorn inverter/charger with a built in transfer switch and this will solve all the new problems you would create. The stock charger is usually some progressive model in your AC panels and you just have to disconnect the AC input to that and usually filp it's breaker off. Victron Multiplus comes in several power capacities and would be an excellent upgrade to your system because of all of its capabilities.

This is a brand new Minnie Winnie, correct? Not even out of warranty?
You're making it way to complicated. You don't need 3 sets of batteries. The gas generator can be started by the engine batteries, or very likely, the new lithium batteries. You don't need a separate bank.
If your upgrading the charger, go with what CAinCA suggests, the Victron Multiplus.

There's a bunch of different models of Mini Winnie - including your year and model would be a good start to finding an answer.
If I may ask - why replace the charger? Not a criticism - I am a big fan of Victron gear, but curious just the same.

Anything in the Victron lineup that says “smart”, means that it can communicate with other Victron devices on VE bus or Victron Connect app. That’s its biggest appeal IMO. Their inverters and inverter/chargers are no better than Xantrex, but they are bigger and cost a lot more. If you have mounting or budget considerations, Victron may not be your answer. But if 100% communication compatibility is your primary driver, stick with 100% Victron components. I wanted a Victron Multiplus, but didn’t have the space for it, so went with a Xantrex model. Worked great, but I missed inter-connectivity. Victron has the best stuff.

I had a Winnie Minnie travel trailer.
What exactly do you have?
It had a Converter (Wifco 50A) to supply 12v power and charge batteries. Most are compatible with LiFePO4.
BTW: Victron Smart are bluetooth. Victron Blue are a lower grade.

With the Blue Smart chargers you can also see current, voltage and time spent in each mode. There is also history and you can look at previous charge cycles. You can also custom tailor charging profiles to match your battery bank, and there is a storage mode. As far as price, they are comparable to NOCO which in my opinion is inferior.

Jim,
You may want to look at current prices if you haven’t since the first of the year
Victron made major price decreases after the first of the year, and they aren’t that much more expensive anymore…… I find them to be the best products out there and one of the best values when you look closely at options.
